SDE-3 Backend

As a Backend Engineer at Jupiter, you will play a crucial role in designing and building backend systems with high reliability and availability. Your responsibilities will include: - Working independently and in a team with minimal supervision - Collaborating with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams - Owning services end-to-end, from planning to monitoring and scaling - Mentoring junior engineers and elevating the tech bar To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: - 5-9 years of backend experience in Java, Python, or Golang - Strong background in distributed systems, REST APIs, and microservices - Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases - Hands-on experience with AWS - Product-thinking mindset and experience owning production systems - Ability to solve complex problems with keen attention to detail - Comfort working in an agile, fast-paced environment At Jupiter, we value individuals who take ownership of their work and see projects through to completion.
