Automobile industry experience is mandatory.

Role

Manage supply chain activities, including material planning, procurement coordination, inventory control, supplier follow-ups and logistics. Ensure timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production and timely customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate material planning and procurement activities as per production requirements.
• Monitor material availability and ensure timely supply to the production department.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Stores, Dispatch, Quality and Logistics teams.
• Follow up with suppliers for material delivery schedules and pending orders.
• Monitor inventory levels, shortages, excess stock and material movement.
• Support production planning and ensure materials are available as per schedule.
• Track supplier delivery performance and identify supply-related issues.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities as required.
• Maintain accurate material planning, inventory and supply chain records in SAP/system.
• Prepare daily and periodic MIS reports related to material availability, inventory and supplier performance.
• Identify supply chain bottlenecks and support corrective actions.
• Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory and support stock optimization.
• Ensure proper documentation, traceability and compliance with company procedures.
• Support cost reduction, process improvement and 5S initiatives.

Education

Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

A qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be an added advantage.

Experience

4 to 8 years

Automobile industry experience is mandatory, preferably in automotive component manufacturing.

Immediate joiners required.
