School Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Adithya Global School, Kurumbapalayam

Job Summary

The School Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and upkeep of school facilities to ensure a clean, secure, and functional learning environment. The role includes supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance and facility operations across the school campus
• Ensure classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas are clean, safe, and functional
• Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations
• Monitor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems
• Supervise and assign tasks to maintenance, cleaning, and support staff
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Conduct regular inspections and report maintenance needs
• Maintain maintenance schedules, logs, and inventory of supplies
• Liaise with external contractors and service providers
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in building maintenance or facilities supervision
• Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices
• Ability to manage staff and coordinate multiple tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
