Location: Bhopal, MP as the base with regular and frequent travel to Project Locations About Sashaktikaran Foundation The Sashaktikaran Foundation is dedicated to empowering women and children by addressing critical challenges in education and development. Through our flagship initiative, Project Neev , we aim to develop a scalable, cost-effective, sustainable, learning model rooted in Ed-tech, that caters to the Rural contexts in India which focuses on: Developing strong foundational literacy and numeracy among students. Develop the habit of self-learning skills. Empower semi-literate women by recruiting and training them to facilitate learning models by effective use of technology. Despite the Project being young(5 months since operations), we are currently active in 10 schools, 9 hostels across 6 districts in Madhya Pradesh, partnering with 3 departments of the MP Government. Role Summary The Project Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and expansion of Project Neev and will be directly working with the Programme Director. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations, support women facilitators, and continuously improve the program’s effectiveness while maintaining regular communication with the Programme Director. Since the Project is in its pilot phase, the role will have scope for a lot of autonomy. Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight Ensure smooth day-to-day operations in schools and hostels participating in Project Neev . Coordinate with school authorities and hostel management to facilitate effective program execution. Troubleshoot challenges faced by facilitators or schools/hostels during program implementation. Regular Visits to Project locations across the 6 districts which will approximately be about 12 days of travel in a month within MP. 2. Facilitator Support Act as the primary point of contact for facilitators, addressing their concerns and providing on-the-ground guidance. Monitor facilitators’ performance and ensure adherence to program protocols. Arrange periodic training sessions to upskill facilitators and improve their effectiveness. 3.Recruitment and On-Boarding Lead the recruitment of facilitators from the local community as the program expands. Ensure selected candidates meet the required literacy and numeracy qualifications. Oversee on-boarding and initial training processes for newly hired facilitators. 4.Program Improvement Gather feedback from facilitators, schools, and hostels to identify areas of improvement. Work closely with the Project Director to refine strategies and materials. Utilize data from the CHIMPLE App and ASER assessments to enhance program outcomes. 5.Progress Reporting Maintain detailed records of program implementation and progress at schools and hostels. Analyse back end data received from CHIMPLE, draw insights from the same. Provide regular reports to the Programme Director, highlighting achievements, challenges, and suggestions for improvement. Qualifications and Skills Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project management, education, or development sector roles. Skills: Basic understanding of Pedagogy in elementary grades. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in rural contexts. Proficiency in data collection and reporting tools. Ability to inspire and support a team, particularly semi-literate or minimally trained facilitators. Language: Fluency in Hindi and basic English proficiency. Preferred Qualities Passion for education and community empowerment. Continuous learner, committed to be a better version of her/him/their self. Familiarity with rural contexts in Madhya Pradesh. Entrepreneurial mindset - high tolerance for ambiguity, a self starter, and ability to come up with ideas for innovating. Willingness to travel extensively within project locations.
