SAS Developer

As an ideal candidate for the position, you should hold a Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or a related field, or possess an equivalent level of industry experience. With a minimum of 5 years of development and design experience in SAS, you should demonstrate a solid understanding of large and complex code bases along with various design techniques. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in SAS Fraud Management Implementation, complemented by knowledge in Java, Microservices, and Springboot. Your technical expertise should encompass a good command of SFM (SAS Fraud Management) and VI (Visual Investigator), proficiency in SQL, and familiarity with API and JSON. Moreover, a sound understanding of data objects, structures, and entities will be essential for excelling in this role. In terms of functional skills, previous experience in the Banking, Financial, or Fintech sectors within an enterprise environment will be highly valued. You should be well-versed in adhering to best practices related to Coding, Security, Unit Testing, and Documentation standards. Familiarity with Agile methodology is crucial, as is the ability to ensure the quality of technical and application architecture across the organization. Your role will also involve researching and benchmarking technologies to maintain the organization's competitive edge. Soft skills play a pivotal role in this position. You should possess the ability to influence multiple teams on technical matters, leveraging your knowledge and experience to enhance their productivity. A self-motivated individual, you should be capable of taking ownership and driving tasks independently while fostering collaboration within cross-functional teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must, enabling you to effectively present ideas to Senior and Executive Management.
