Position Overview The Senior Production Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling production activities to ensure efficient shop-floor operations, quality compliance, and timely dispatch. This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and hands-on involvement in manufacturing processes. Key Roles & Responsibilities · Production Planning & Execution · Plan daily and weekly production schedules as per customer requirements · Allocate jobs to wiring, busbar, pre-assembly, and final assembly areas · Monitor production progress and ensure target achievement Shop Floor Management · Supervise shop-floor activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity · Conduct regular shop-floor visits to identify delays, bottlenecks, and improvement areas · Ensure discipline, 5S implementation Cross-Functional Coordination · Coordinate with Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Engineering teams · Interact with Operations Head / HOD for daily production review · Support service and customer coordination when required Quality & ISO Compliance · Ensure production activities follow ISO standards and internal SOPs · Support ISO documentation updates, audits, and corrective actions · Monitor drawing control, checklists, and quality records ERP & Documentation · Handle ERP entries related to production planning and material movement · Maintain production reports, checklists, and shift-wise records · Track productivity, rejection, rework, and downtime data Continuous Improvement · Lead 5S, Kaizen, and Think Tank initiatives · Identify cost reduction, cycle time reduction, and efficiency improvement opportunities · Support toolbox talks and safety audits People & Administrative Responsibilities · Guide junior engineers, supervisors, and technicians · Promote teamwork, accountability, and process discipline Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Provident Fund Ability to commute/relocate: Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Location: Pune, Maharashtra (Preferred) Work Location: In person
