Preferred candidate profile 5-10 years of accounting experience in a real estate company (mandatory) In-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws , including TDS and GST Proficient in accounting tools and ERP systems Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills Capable of independently handling financial operations and reporting
Role & responsibilities Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and financial processes; ensure strong internal financial controls are in place. Perform daily entries of all construction-related expenses and payments. Review, verify, and release vendor and contractor payments. Manage the General Ledger (GL) master data and perform timely bank reconciliations. Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) and ensure timely closing. Reconcile income statements and critical accounts. Prepare and monitor the expense budget report, tracking project costs. Manage the entire GST and TDS compliance cycle, including accurate calculation, payment, and filing of returns. Ensure comprehensive compliance with all tax laws in the real estate sector. Act as the primary contact for external auditors. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 3-5 years of experience working for a Real Estate Developer/Construction Company. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally and MS Excel.
