Job Description SAP SuccessFactors Compensation Consultant (AI-Powered)

Role: Custom Software Engineer Experience: 4+ years Required Skills: SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, Generative AI Education: 15 years of full-time education Location: Chennai – CDC2A Level: Senior Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, including merit cycles, salary planning, bonus, and variable pay.
• Manage compensation budgets, eligibility rules, guidelines, worksheets, templates, statements, and approval workflows.
• Use AI copilots and generative AI tools for requirement analysis, functional specifications, documentation, test case generation, and troubleshooting.
• Support end-to-end implementation, configuration, SIT, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.
• Integrate SAP SuccessFactors Compensation with Employee Central, Performance & Goals (PMGM), and Employee Central Payroll (ECP), where applicable.
• Apply AI-assisted analysis for budget utilization, compensation data validation, anomaly detection, and eligibility classification.
• Ensure compliance with compensation policies, pay equity standards, and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with HR, Compensation & Benefits, HRBPs, Payroll, and technical integration teams.

Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Compensation.
• Experience in merit, bonus, salary planning, and variable pay cycles.
• Knowledge of compensation worksheets, budgets, guidelines, eligibility rules, and statements.
• Experience using Generative AI tools, AI copilots, or AI-assisted productivity solutions.
• Understanding of AI-assisted documentation, testing, data validation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• SAP SuccessFactors Compensation or Variable Pay certification.
• Experience with global compensation planning and localization.
• Exposure to compensation analytics and pay equity tools.
• SAP CPI or Boomi integration experience.
