About the job:

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant (Functional)

We are looking :-

Experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Functional Consultant .

Lead the design and delivery of enterprise planning solutions, acting as the primary link between Finance stakeholders and the technical environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong roots in SAP BPC (Standard or Embedded) and proven hands-on experience in SAC Planning implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Consulting & Design

Lead workshops with Finance/FP&A teams to gather requirements for Budgeting, Forecasting, and Workforce Planning.

Translate complex financial processes into efficient SAC Planning models and solution architectures.

Conduct fit-gap analysis between legacy BPC/Excel processes and SAC capabilities.

Create comprehensive functional specifications, user guides, and training materials.

SAC Configuration & Build

Configure SAC Planning models, dimensions, hierarchies, and currency conversion tables.

Develop and optimize Data Actions, Multi-Actions, Advanced Formulas, and Allocations.

Design and build user-friendly Input Templates, Stories, and Digital Boardroom dashboards.

Manage version control, private versions, and planning workflows.

Integration & Delivery

Collaborate with technical teams to set up connections (Live/Import) with S/4HANA, BW, or Datasphere.

Define data mapping logic and transformation rules.

Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Provide hyper-care support and end-user training post-go-live.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Mandatory: Completion of at least 1 full-cycle End-to-End SAC Planning implementation.

BPC Background: Strong functional knowledge of SAP BPC (Standard or Embedded) is required to understand legacy migration contexts.

Functional Domain: Solid understanding of financial processes (Cost Center Planning, CAPEX, Revenue Planning, P&L).

Technical Proficiency: Hands-on mastery of SAC Data Actions, Advanced Formulas, and Extended Story design (including story APi).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting or SAP Datasphere.

Certification in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Experience working in Agile/Sprint-based project environments.
