SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS)

As an SAP BODS Developer/Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes and data integration workflows using SAP BODS. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements, implementing data transformation processes for migration, quality, and warehousing, and ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through monitoring and troubleshooting ETL processes. You will also conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation activities, create documentation, and work with other teams to deliver end-to-end data integration solutions. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with several years of hands-on experience in SAP BODS development and implementation. Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing is essential, as well as proficiency in SAP BODS Designer, Data Services Management Console, and relevant components. Experience with data transformation, profiling, and cleansing techniques, along with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, and SAP HANA, is required. Additionally, familiarity with scripting, complex SQL queries, SAP BI, and SAP HANA will be beneficial. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be crucial in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of SAP BODS processes. You will also be expected to conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT for SAP BODS solutions, while ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and data governance policies. Good communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment is important for success in this role.,
