Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Administrator with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration and support. The candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing SAP landscapes, ensuring system availability, performance, and stability across SAP environments.
Responsibilities - Perform SAP system administration activities across Development, Quality, and Production environments.
- Monitor SAP systems proactively and resolve technical issues to ensure high availability.
- Execute SAP installations, upgrades, kernel upgrades, support pack implementation, and patch management.
- Perform SAP client administration, system refreshes, client copies, and transport management.
- Manage SAP user administration, roles, authorizations, and security-related activities.
- Monitor and optimize SAP system performance, database health, and background jobs.
- Handle SAP HANA database administration tasks including backup, recovery, and monitoring.
- Configure and maintain Transport Management System (TMS).
- Troubleshoot SAP Basis-related incidents, service requests, and root cause analysis.
- Perform system health checks and capacity planning activities.
- Support SAP audit, compliance, and security requirements.
- Coordinate with functional, development, infrastructure, and database teams for issue resolution.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
- Participate in on-call support and scheduled maintenance activities.
