Job Title: Sampling Coordinator Department: Sampling/ Merchandising Location: FashionC Overseas Pvt. Ltd. Job Summary: The Sampling Coordinator is responsible for managing the development of samples in alignment with buyer requirements and ensuring adherence to quality standards. This role involves close coordination with the merchandising, production, and quality teams to ensure timely execution of high-quality samples that meet customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Sampling Management: Plan and coordinate the entire sampling process from proto to pre-production samples. Ensure timely development and dispatch of samples as per buyer deadlines. Maintain a detailed record of sample development processes and approvals. Quality Assurance: Ensure all samples meet buyer quality standards, specifications, and compliance requirements. Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of samples to identify defects or deviations. Work closely with the quality team to implement corrective actions where necessary. Fabric & Trim Coordination: Source and coordinate required fabrics, trims, and accessories for sample development. Collaborate with suppliers and in-house teams to ensure material quality and timely availability. Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise with design, merchandising, and production teams to ensure proper execution of sample development. Provide feedback on design feasibility and suggest improvements for production efficiency. Communicate sample comments and buyer feedback to relevant teams. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the sampling process to enhance efficiency and quality. Implement best practices to reduce sample lead time and minimize rework. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of sample development, approvals, and quality assessments. Prepare reports on sample status, rejections, and improvements for management review. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, trims, and quality standards. Familiarity with buyer requirements, technical specifications, and compliance standards. Excellent coordination and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams. Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective measures. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Proficiency in MS Office. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing, Textile Technology, or related field. 7-8 years of experience in sampling coordination within the garment industry. Prior experience working with export houses and buyers is an advantage. Strong understanding of quality assurance and garment testing standards. Salary- 35000-40,000 Full time Day shift
