Job Summary

We are looking for a result-oriented Regional Sales Executive to drive business growth, acquire new clients, and develop strong relationships with existing customers across the assigned region. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, promoting the company's logistics services, achieving sales targets, and expanding the customer base across industries.

The ideal candidate should have experience in logistics sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to generate leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Client Acquisition

• Identify and approach potential customers requiring logistics, transportation, air freight, courier, and supply chain services.
• Generate new business leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, networking, and market research.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve assigned regional sales targets.
• Conduct client meetings and presentations to understand customer requirements and propose suitable logistics solutions.
• Convert prospective clients into active business accounts.

2. Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Regularly follow up with customers to understand their requirements and identify additional business opportunities.
• Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Address client concerns and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

3. Regional Market Development

• Identify new markets, industries, and business segments within the assigned territory.
• Analyze competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to identify business opportunities.
• Develop strategies to expand the company's presence and increase market share.
• Conduct regular field visits to meet clients and explore new business prospects.

4. Sales Planning & Reporting

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Prepare sales forecasts, lead trackers, client visit reports, and business development updates.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and opportunity pipelines in the CRM system or designated trackers.
• Submit regular performance reports to the reporting manager.
• Monitor client conversion rates, revenue generation, and account growth.

5. Coordination & Commercial Negotiations

• Coordinate with internal operations and pricing teams to prepare quotations and proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within the company's approved guidelines.
• Follow up on quotations, proposals, and pending business opportunities.
• Coordinate with the accounts team for payment follow-ups and outstanding receivables, where required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; an MBA in Sales or Marketing is an added advantage.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, courier, freight forwarding, or supply chain sales will be preferred.
• Proven ability to generate leads, acquire new clients, and achieve sales targets.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, email communication, and CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region for client meetings and business development activities.

• Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Number of new clients acquired.
• Revenue generated from new and existing accounts.
• Lead conversion rate and growth of the sales pipeline.
• Client retention and repeat business.
• Number of client meetings and productive field visits.
• Timely follow-up on quotations, proposals, and business opportunities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with a strong background in B2B logistics sales and new client acquisition will be preferred.
• Must be comfortable with field sales, client meetings, and regional travel.
• Should have a proactive approach to lead generation, commercial negotiations, and business development.
• Must be target-oriented and capable of independently managing the assigned territory.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
