Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and well-organized Sales Coordinator to support the sales team of a leading plastic and packaging company. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating sales activities, managing customer enquiries, processing orders, following up with customers, and ensuring smooth coordination between the sales, production, dispatch, and accounts departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the sales team and customers regarding enquiries, orders, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices, and other sales-related documents.
• Follow up with customers on pending orders, payments, and delivery status.
• Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Maintain customer databases, sales reports, and order records.
• Handle incoming customer enquiries through phone calls and emails.
• Track order status and provide regular updates to customers.
• Assist the sales team in preparing sales reports, MIS reports, and monthly performance summaries.
• Coordinate with the accounts department regarding billing, outstanding payments, and customer statements.
• Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships through timely communication and follow-ups.

Required Skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and email correspondence.
• Knowledge of sales order processing, invoicing, and customer coordination.
• Strong follow-up, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments and customers.
• Attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.

Qualification & Experience

• Qualification:

  Any graduate; B.Com or BBA preferred.

• Experience:

  25 years of experience in sales coordination, sales administration, or customer support.
• Experience in a manufacturing, plastic, packaging, or industrial products company will be an added advantage.

Salary & Benefits

• CTC:

  25,000 30,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
• Full-time employment.
• Opportunity to work with an established plastic and packaging company.

Job Location

Kilpauk, Chennai, near Ega Theatre.
