Job Title: Sales & Marketing Executive

Job Purpose:
To develop new business, maintain strong relationships with existing clients, generate import/export shipment opportunities, and achieve sales targets through effective customer engagement and market development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Existing Customer Management
- Welcome and support existing clients with professional service.
- Maintain strong and long-term customer relationships.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable logistics solutions.
- New Business Development
- Identify and approach new and potential customers for import/export shipments.
- Visit customers regularly to understand their shipping requirements.
- Generate inquiries and convert them into confirmed business/orders.
- Customer Follow-up
- Conduct regular follow-ups with existing and prospective customers.
- Follow up on quotations, inquiries, bookings, and pending requirements.
- Ensure timely communication and customer satisfaction.
- Market & Competitor Analysis
- Keep updated on current market conditions, freight rates, and competition.
- Monitor competitor pricing and services.
- Identify new business opportunities and approach customers accordingly.
- Pricing & Cost Management
- Coordinate with the pricing/operations team to obtain competitive rates.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining service quality.
- Prepare and negotiate quotations with customers.
- Sales & Marketing Activities
- Achieve assigned sales targets and business development goals.
- Maintain a proper database of customers, prospects, and sales leads.
- Participate in client meetings and other sales/marketing activities.
- Develop new accounts and increase business from existing customers.
- Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with Operations, Documentation, Pricing, and Customer Service teams.
- Ensure smooth execution of confirmed shipments.
- Resolve customer queries and coordinate for timely solutions.

Qualification:
- Any Bachelor’s Degree (B.Com, BBA, BBM, BA, or equivalent)
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Logistics is an added advantage, not mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding / Shipping / Logistics Sales..
