Principal responsibilities: Maintain the AWS resource library using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) written in typescript Write tests and assertions to harden the resiliency of the code Administer cloud network resources including subnets, routes, DNS, load balancers and firewalls Troubleshoot Microsoft .NET application performance and functionality Identify and implement opportunities for quality improvement using test automation Administer and interpret results from performance tools such as X-Ray, CloudWatch Logs, and Dynatrace APM to promote continuous improvement of products to our customers Optimize cloud configuration from both a technical and budgetary perspective Review and enhance runbooks, knowledge base documentation, and log defects Enforce security tool actions for both short term remediation and prevent recurrence Identify and remediate application performance and database performance on AWS EC2, Lambda, and RDS (Relational Database Service) instances Assist with moving workloads from on premise data center to cloud Configure and maintain Microsoft .NET workloads running on both EC2 instances and AWS Lambda Learn and stay up to date with current AWS best practices and service offerings. Required Skills: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field AWS Certification Preferred Experience: At least five (5) years of experience administering Amazon Web Services At least two (2) years of experience administering serverless workloads AWS Certification in one or more of the following Advanced Networking DevOps Engineer Professional Solutions Architect - Professional At least one (2) year of writing and supporting AWS CDK code An advanced knowledge of typescript development An advanced knowledge of .NET application development At least two (2) years of experience building CI/CD automation processes Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies Experience in large-scale migrations such Data Center to Cloud Strong technical communication skills, both verbal and written Excel at being a team player who excels at knowledge sharing and understanding the interpersonal aspects of working in a team.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java, Spring Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Collaborate closely with onshore team members to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing during overlapping core hours. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while following established development standards. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement of team practices. Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Mentor junior developers through pair programming, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer. Support accessibility and usability standards in application development. Work with source control tools, manage pull requests, and resolve merge conflicts effectively. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Required Qualifications 5+ years experience developing applications as part of a team environment with Java and JavaScript Proficient with Spring Framework and Spring annotations Proficient with vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Proficient with Source Control, Pull Requests, Code Reviews Comfortable writing automated tests for Java and/or JavaScript (must have at least one) Experience collaborating with other developers, pair programming, and mentoring junior development staff Support (at a minimum) 4 hours of overlap with our onshore development team (Core hours of 8am-3pm CT) Preferred Qualifications Experience with React or Angular or jQuery Familiar with SQL and JDBC Experience developing/testing against 508 accessibility guidelines
