1. Knowlegge of Accounting : Apply foundational knowledge of accounting to analyze financial statements and assess the financial health of companies involved in insolvency proceedings. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and balance sheets for distressed entities. Assist in the valuation of assets and liabilities to support decision-making processes during insolvency. Understand key accounting principles, such as debt restructuring, liquidation, and financial reporting, and their application in insolvency cases. 2. Drafting Skills : Draft and review reports, memos, and legal documents related to insolvency proceedings, including but not limited to, notices, petitions, and statements of affairs. Prepare documentation for court filings, creditor meetings, and other regulatory requirements in the insolvency process. Assist senior team members in drafting settlement agreements, restructuring proposals, and other legal instruments. Ensure that all drafted documents comply with legal and regulatory standards. 3. Good English Communication and Drafting : Communicate effectively with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clarity in conveying complex insolvency-related information. Prepare and review written communication for accuracy, tone, and clarity in both formal and informal settings. Assist in drafting presentations, proposals, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrate proficiency in legal and business English, ensuring high-quality writing and communication. 4. Eager to Learn in the Field of Insolvency : Actively participate in training and professional development opportunities to deepen knowledge in insolvency laws, processes, and procedures. Research and stay updated on emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in insolvency and corporate restructuring. Work closely with senior insolvency professionals to gain hands-on experience and contribute to case management and execution. Show initiative in solving problems, understanding complex cases, and proactively seeking ways to improve skills and knowledge in the insolvency field.
