Role & responsibilities Assist in statutory and tax audits. Prepare working papers, audit schedules, and required documentation. Support preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow) under supervision. Perform account reconciliations (receivables, payables, bank, etc.). Assist in compliance tasks: GST, TDS, Income Tax return filings. Conduct research on accounting standards, tax regulations, and company law. Participate in client meetings and liaise with auditors / tax authorities. Prepare MIS / management reports / variance analyses. Support in audit closure, including coordinating with other offices or team members. Drafting submissions for faceless assessment and appeal proceedings, penalty submissions before AO, Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeal) and ITAT. Representing before AO and various other authorities for assessment and appeal proceedings. Preparing, vetting and filing return of incomes and TDS returns for individuals, partnership firms, HUF, companies etc. Responding to letters and making compliances to queries of department Annual income tax return. Providing advisory over domestic / International Taxation / Transfer pricing matters. Preparing & Advising on form 15 CA/CB for various clients. Advisory and planning over tax structures and evaluating the taxability for the structures. Obtaining Lower Deduction Certificate u/s 197/195. Preferred candidate profile Good analytical and problem-solving skills Strong Excel skills; proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, audit tools) Knowledge of Indian accounting standards / Ind-AS, auditing standards Understanding of corporate tax laws, GST, income tax Good communication and interpersonal skills; client facing. Ability to work both independently and in a team The candidate must be capable to handle assessment proceedings and should be good at drafting. The candidate must have knowledge of Tax audit and transfer pricing. Should have knowledge of Income tax return fi ling of the company. The Candidate must have knowledge of TDS including DTAA. Should be capable to handle the quarterly review of the Balance sheet to prepare the Advance tax computation. Should have knowledge of filling Appeals before the commissioner of appeal/DRP. Capable to handle day-to-day activities and income tax-related queries. Should have knowledge of deferred tax and contingent liabilities. Work closely with the tax department to ensure the performance of tax planning, client interaction, and special projects. Review completed tax forms and provide recommendations to junior members of our team when needed. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service.
