Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Design Engineer to design, 2D draft, build to assembly and optimise for industrial operations. This role offers the chance to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment, ensuring high-quality production while meeting project deadlines. You will be responsible for handling procurement , Bill of Materials (BOM) management , machine tools , and interpreting assembly drawings for efficient manufacturing and assembly. Role & responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and supervise production processes to ensure timely delivery and quality. Manage procurement of materials, tools, and equipment required for production. Interpret and analyze assembly drawings to guide the manufacturing and assembly teams. Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for production projects. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot machine tools used in the manufacturing process. Oversee the assembly process , ensuring alignment with design specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to address production challenges. Required Skills: Strong SolidWorks or CAD design skills combined with 2D drafting for sheet metal bending Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical and assembly drawings . Experience in creating and managing BOMs . Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management. Knowledge of industrial production standards and quality control practices . Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong organizational and communication skills to liaise across departments.
