Your role will involve scaling the existing architecture to handle billions of requests monthly, with a current scale of 100 million requests per month. You will contribute to architecting the database/reporting layer, enabling support for complex queries and data exports of millions of records. As a lead developer, you will drive the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. The ideal candidate for this position should have proficiency in NodeJS, expert knowledge of NoSQL Databases (preferably MongoDB), experience in handling products with over a million requests per month, and possess 5-8 years of relevant professional work experience. A self-motivated individual who can work independently and is committed to delivering high-quality results would be an excellent fit for this role. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the product architecture to handle millions of requests daily, optimizing the architecture for regional data zones, developing high-performance, reusable, and bug-free APIs, and optimizing existing APIs for performance through data denormalization and decoupling long-running APIs using queues. Additionally, familiarity with AWS Services like API Gateway, Lambdas, SNS, SQS, and SES will be beneficial.
