Ruby Full Stack Developer

You are a skilled Ruby Full Stack Developer with over 6 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development, with a preference for Ruby 3.x. You have a strong command over AngularJS and Angular (2+), along with expertise in relational databases, especially MySQL (experience with Aurora MySQL is a bonus). Your familiarity with AWS ECS and related cloud technologies is commendable. Your experience includes designing applications using Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS), Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), and various design patterns. You possess exceptional problem-solving abilities and excel at unraveling complex systems. Your collaborative mindset enables you to work effectively with a mix of modern and legacy technologies. In this role, you will collaborate with the team to enhance the Symplr Spend application. Your responsibilities will involve developing and refining backend functionality using Ruby 3.0.6 and Rails to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will play a key role in modernizing the user interface by integrating AngularJS and Angular, implementing a coherent design strategy. Your excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, will be vital in articulating complex ideas clearly. You will focus on optimizing application performance, addressing technical debt areas, and leveraging AWS ECS and other services to maintain a robust and scalable infrastructure. Managing and optimizing the Aurora MySQL database will be crucial for ensuring efficient operations. Your commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, along with active participation in code reviews, will contribute to the team's success.
