Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardware Technician to assist with electronics assembly, including PCB soldering, connector and cable soldering, cable assemblies, documentation, testing, and enclosure integration. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience across a variety of critical electronics manufacturing and assembly tasks. Key Responsibilities: PCB Soldering : Hand-solder surface-mount and through-hole components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using the appropriate soldering tools and techniques. Connector & Cable Soldering : Solder wires, cables, and connectors to PCBs or assemblies according to schematics and work instructions. Crimping & Preparing Cable Assemblies : Strip, crimp, and terminate wires using hand or machine crimping tools, ensuring secure and high-quality connections. Preparing Wiring Charts & Cable Assembly Drawings : Read, interpret, and assist in preparing wiring charts, schematics, cable assembly drawings, and associated documentation. Testing Electronic Assemblies : Conduct visual inspections, continuity checks, and functional testing of assembled PCBs, cables, and connectors; troubleshoot issues as needed. Assembling into Electronic Enclosures : Fit and mount PCBs, connectors, cables, and other components into electronic housings or enclosures following assembly guidelines. General Duties : Maintain a clean and organized workspace, follow ESD and safety protocols, accurately document work, and support process improvements and rework when needed. Qualifications: ITI (Industrial Trainig Institute) Certificate, High school diploma or equivalent. The course work should have specifically included manual soldering process with hands-on training Familiarity with Wiring and assembly processes Familiarity with hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, and crimpers. Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions accurately. Willingness to learn and adhere to quality assurance and safety standards. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Fine motor skills for handling small components and tools. Strong visual accuracy for inspecting solder joints and assemblies.
