This internship will focus on the design and development of real-time object follow-up & detection systems integrated with many platforms/applications, drones, leveraging AI, machine learning, and embedded hardware technologies Selected Intern’s Day‑to‑day Responsibilities Include Assisting in the development of object‑detection algorithms using Python, OpenCV, and TensorFlow or PyTorch, including implementation with techniques like YOLO and Haar cascades. Integrating object‑tracking modules such as KCF, CSRT, or DeepSort into drone control systems for real‑time applications and testing detection pipelines. Designing, programming, and testing embedded systems using platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266, LoRa, and ATmega microcontrollers, working with peripherals such as stepper/servo motors, LCDs, keypads, USB, and Wi‑Fi modules. Developing and debugging code in C, C++, Embedded C++, and Python to ensure real-time hardware interaction and system responsiveness. Collaborating on PCB design and hardware prototyping to integrate custom interfaces and sensors into the system, conducting component layout and assembly. Participating in system-level integration and testing of AI-enabled surveillance or drone-based solutions, evaluating performance in real-world conditions.
