RPA & Agentic AI Technical Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking a technical Automation Technical Lead to spearhead Automation Centre of Excellence (CoE). In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and cutting-edge intelligent automation, specifically focusing on advanced Optical Character Recognition (OCR/IDP) and Agentic AI (autonomous AI agents, LLM orchestration, and cognitive workflows).

You will lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of automation developers. As the technical custodian of the CoE, you will be directly responsible for establishing architectural guardrails, accelerating development lifecycles, and owning the core KPIs that drive tangible business value.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

Solution Design: Architect robust, scalable, and secure end-to-end automation solutions combining RPA, IDP/OCR, and Agentic AI frameworks.

Next-Gen AI Integration: Design and implement agentic workflows utilizing LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and autonomous AI agents to handle complex, unstructured, and decision-heavy business processes.

Standardization & Quality: Establish strict coding standards, reusable component libraries, and robust code review processes to increase code quality and minimize technical debt.

Delivery Acceleration: Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and agile practices to significantly reduce development time and time-to-market.

Team Leadership & People Management

Team Management: Lead a dedicated team of automation developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability.

Mentorship: Conduct regular code reviews, technical workshops, and mentorship sessions to upskill the team in advanced AI and cognitive automation methodologies.

Resource Allocation: Manage sprint planning, task assignments, and workload balancing across the developer pool.

CoE Performance & KPI Ownership

You will completely own the strategic metrics of the Automation CoE, driving continuous improvement across:

Scale: Expand the automation pipeline and increase the throughput of deployed bots and AI agents.

Accuracy & Stability: Ensure high-performing, resilient automations with minimal exception rates and robust self-healing mechanisms.

ROI & Utilization: Maximize the utilization of digital workers (licenses/infrastructure) and track the hard/soft financial savings of every deployment.

Cost vs. Benefit: Conduct rigorous pre-and-post implementation reviews to ensure development costs align with projected business value.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Technical Experience

RPA Mastery: Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience with leading RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Microsoft Power Automate).

Intelligent Document Processing (IDP): Proven experience implementing advanced OCR/ICR solutions (e.g., ABBYY FlexiCapture, UiPath Document Understanding, IQ Bot, or AWS Textract).

Agentic AI & Cognitive Tech: Strong conceptual and hands-on experience with AI Orchestration, LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI), and integrating APIs for cognitive decision-making.

Development Background: Solid programming foundations in Python, .NET/C#, or JavaScript.

Infrastructure & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD tools.

Leadership & Soft Skills

Leadership Experience: 4+ years of experience leading, managing, or mentoring developer teams in an agile environment.

Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to look at a messy manual process and distil it into an optimal and elegant automated workflow.

Stakeholder Communication: Ability to translate complex technical architectures into business-friendly ROI metrics for executive leadership.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
