Job Responsibilities Tax Compliance & Filings: Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns across relevant jurisdictions. Reconcile with GST payable Ledger and File GSTR-1 on or before due date. Reconcile and prepare GSTR- 3B return Liability /receivable amount with GST payable and receivable Ledger and File GSTR-3B on or before due date. Annual Return GSTR-9 & 9C Prepare Challan for output tax liability to be paid in Cash and forward to Accounts for upload payment on GSTN Portal. Prepare Accounting Entries related to GST claim for the end of every month and forward to Accounts team for Posting in Particular GL. Reconciliation & Reporting: Timely and accurately prepare Output Tax Return and match Sales with Financials sales ledger. Also match Invoices wise data as per Sales register with Output return with correct classification i.e. Sales to B2B, B2C, Export, SEZ as per GST Act. Timely & accurately prepare reconciliation with GSTR- 2B before Filing of GSTR 3B. Prepare details of GST not claimed in 3B and report within 2 working days from closer of monthly 2B. Communicate to SCM department for Non-GST Return file and provide necessary details within 2 working days from closer of monthly 2B GST Inspection of Project GRN, routine GRN and Work order (verification of GRN for GST claim) Audit and Risk Management: Handle indirect tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities. Prepare responses to queries and ensure appropriate documentation to support tax positions. Process Improvement and Automation: Drive automation and efficiency improvements in tax reporting processes. Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance tax data accuracy and reporting systems. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams on indirect tax matters. Liaise with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities when necessary. Provide training and updates to finance and operational teams on indirect tax compliance. Customer Credit notes Check & Authorize Credit Note as per authority Matrix. If any problem, send back to concern person for correction TDS and TCS Managing and ensuring timely and accurate deduction and deposit of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and TCS (Tax Collected at Source) as per the Income Tax regulations. Reviewing and reconciling TDS and TCS accounts to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Generating reports and documentation related to TDS and TCS, for internal and statutory audits.
