We are looking for a Tech Lead IaaS/PaaS who can design and deploy a fault-tolerant cloud environment from scratch, automate key services (VM, storage, Kubernetes, DBaaS), implement security and scaling mechanisms, and become the technical leader of the entire cloud infrastructure. The position is in Tashkent, Uzbekistan . Candidates should consider relocation to Uzbekistan or remote work. What You'll Do • Design cloud architecture: compute, storage, networking, tenant isolation. • Deploy from scratch: virtual machines, Object Storage, SDN, Kubernetes, DBaaS, DRaaS. • Select technology stack and hardware suitable for platform scaling. • Set up automation for provisioning, self-service, CI/CD, monitoring. • Implement DevSecOps approach: ACL, basic DDoS protection, network policies, encryption. • Be responsible for reliability, SLA, resolving critical incidents (P1), RCA. • Work directly with product teams (IaaS, PaaS, Security). • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers (DevOps, SRE, Backend). Requirements • Production experience with virtualization: KVM/libvirt, Proxmox, VMware, cloud-init. • Deep knowledge of Ceph (RBD, RGW), ZFS or SAN/NAS storage. • Strong understanding of L2/L3 networks, NAT, firewall, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN. • Kubernetes: installation, ingress, RBAC, network policies, Helm. • Automation: Terraform, Ansible, bash/python. • Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager. • Experience deploying or refactoring clouds with SLA and multiple customers. Preferred Qualifications • Experience building multi-tenant clouds (isolation, ACL, firewall). • Experience publishing Kubernetes and DBaaS as a service. • Understanding of Tier III/Tier IV levels. • Experience with B2B or government-sector clouds: SLA, audit, compliance.
