Role: Senior Leader Data Architecture

You are seeking a highly seasoned Data Architecture leader to oversee the enterprise data architecture function. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of building and scaling large-scale data platforms and be able to lead the vision, strategy, and implementation of data architecture across the organization. **Key Requirements:** - Deep Technical Expertise in Large-Scale Distributed Data Systems - Designing and developing enterprise-class, internet-scale distributed data services. - Hands-on experience supporting mission-critical, high-volume transactional systems with strict performance, reliability, and availability requirements. - Strong Experience Across Modern Data Ecosystems - Expertise in Data Lakes (enterprise-wide storage architectures). - Proficiency in building and managing Data APIs for internal and external data consumption. - Familiarity with Data Fabric/Data Fabrication concepts, including metadata-driven data integration, virtualization, and automated data pipelines. - Leadership & Organizational Build-Out - Currently leading or heading a Data Architecture or Enterprise Data Engineering function in a mid-to-large organization. - Demonstrated ability to establish teams, processes, and platforms from the ground up. - Strong leadership skills to define architectural standards, practices, governance models, and align stakeholders across engineering, product, and business. **Ideal Background:** You should have 20+ years of experience in data engineering/data architecture, with a minimum of 10+ years in a senior or head-of-architecture role. Experience in cloud-native data platform architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure) is preferred.
