You will be responsible for developing the company's overarching social content strategy while also managing the day-to-day execution, content creation, community engagement, and performance analysis. I. Social Media Content Strategy & Planning Design and implement a cohesive, data-driven social media content strategy Define the core content pillars, messaging guidelines, and formats for various platforms Define key performance indicators (KPIs) like engagement rate, follower growth II. Content Creation & Curation Editorial Calendar Management: Plan, schedule, and manage the end-to-end content calendar across various platforms using scheduling tools Content Creation: Write compelling, on-brand copy, captions, and scripts, and actively create or manage the creation of multimedia content (images, graphics, short-form video, carousels). Utilise AI tools to identify trends, optimize content, and maximize reach. Brand Voice Consistency: Ensure all social media content adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent tone, style, and visual identity across all platforms. Content Optimization: Apply SEO best practices to social content (e.g., keywords in captions, optimized profile descriptions) to maximize organic reach and discoverability. Obtain case studies / video testimonials / and reviews III. Platform Management & Community Daily Platform Oversight: Monitor all social channels daily, ensuring posts are delivered on time, links are functional, and the overall social presence is healthy. Community Engagement: Actively engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally in the brand voice to foster dialogue and loyalty. Social Listening: Monitor social conversation and sentiments to address issues, flag opportunities, and inform content adjustments in real-time. Create useful content to engage and get the community/groups going eg. draft and coordinate surveys, then analyse and present survey results; or produce useful guides Obtain case studies / video testimonials / and reviews IV. Reporting & Optimization Performance Reporting: Generate and present weekly reports on social media performance, highlighting successes, failures, and data-driven recommendations for optimization. A/B Testing: Design and execute A/B tests on content formats, posting times, and copy to continually iterate and improve content efficacy. Required Skills & Qualifications At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, requiring a strong command of the English language Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different social platforms. Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools Intermediate skills in graphic design, video editing, use of AI tools for rapid content development and optimisation. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
