Job Description

As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enable the development of cutting-edge technology. You will collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design state-of-the-art low-level perception (LLP), end-to-end models, and Vision-Language models(VLM)/ Vision-Language-Action models(VLA) for Autonomous Driving and Robotics use cases. - Focus on achieving accuracy-latency Pareto optimality. - Comprehend state-of-the-art research in deep learning, Vision Transformers, multi-modal fusion, and VLM/VLA Models. - Deploy networks on the Qualcomm Ride platform for Autonomous Driving and Robotics applications. - Collaborate with advanced R&D teams of leading automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Qualcomm's internal stack teams. - Enhance the speed, accuracy, power consumption, and latency of deep networks running on Snapdragon Ride AI accelerators. - Utilize machine learning algorithms, particularly related to Automotive and Robotics use cases. - Research efficient networks, Neural Architecture Search (NAS) techniques, network quantization, and pruning. - Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various horizontal AI teams. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 6+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience, OR Master's degree with 5+ years, OR PhD with 4+ years. - Experience in Vision Transformers, multi-modal fusion, VLM/VLA Models, and Bird's Eye View (BEV) space. - Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals. - Hands-on experience in deep learning network design and implementation using PyTorch. - Knowledge of network quantization, compression, pruning algorithms, and deep learning kernel/compiler optimization.
