Role Overview: As a CCTV Check and Maintenance technician, you will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance and health checks on all cameras, NVRs, encoders/decoders, and allied infrastructure. Your role will involve ensuring the proper functioning and alignment of equipment, verifying recording/playback quality, and conducting redundancy checks. Additionally, you will be required to perform pre-monsoon maintenance checks and firmware version verification. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct health checks of all cameras, NVRs, encoders/decoders. - Perform lens cleaning, refocusing, and physical alignment. - Verify recording/playback quality and date-time sync. - Check redundancy on NVRs and storage status. - Verify power supply and UPS health. - Conduct pre-monsoon maintenance check-up for water seepages & leakages. - Verify firmware versions and log during preventive checks. - Inspect for tampering or sabotage signs. - Check environmental suitability and verify IP ratings per IEC 60529. - Inspect cable routes for damages/loose connections. - Verify network switch status. - Conduct fire/intrusion integration checks. - Perform pre-monsoon maintenance check-up for water seepages & leakages.
