About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled FreeSWITCH Developer with deep experience in OpenSIPS and/or Kamailio to join our core VoIP engineering team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll architect, build, and maintain robust SIP-based communication systems. What You’ll Be Doing: - Build and maintain scalable VoIP services using FreeSWITCH. - Configure and manage SIP proxies (OpenSIPS, Kamailio) for routing, load balancing, and NAT traversal. - Develop and fine-tune dialplans, call flows, and scripts in Lua, Python, or JavaScript. - Troubleshoot signaling/media issues using tools like Wireshark, sngrep, and FreeSWITCH logs. - Integrate VoIP systems with external APIs, databases, CRMs, and billing platforms. - Ensure security, uptime, and scalability across the voice infrastructure. - Document systems and contribute to architectural decisions. What You Bring: - 3+ years working with FreeSWITCH in production environments. - Strong grasp of the SIP protocol and related RFCs. - Practical experience with OpenSIPS and/or Kamailio configuration. - Deep troubleshooting skills using tools like Wireshark, sngrep, HOMER/HEPIC. - Scripting experience (Lua, Bash, Python, JS). - Solid understanding of VoIP architecture, NAT traversal, and RTP handling. - Linux systems admin experience (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS). Bonus Points For: - Experience integrating WebRTC. - Knowledge of rtpproxy, rtpengine. - Monitoring with Grafana, Prometheus, or HEPIC. - Containerized environments using Docker/Kubernetes. - Billing or CRM system integration experience.
