We're hiring a Finance & Accounts Manager to take full ownership of our accounting and reporting function, the heart of this role. You'll ensure accurate books, timely financial reporting, and full compliance with GST, TDS, and accounting standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, takes pride in clean numbers, and works with dedication and accountability. Responsibilities Manage daily accounting tasks, including payables, receivables, payroll, and general ledger. Handle month-end and year-end close processes, journal entries, and reconciliations. Ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition. Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns timely. Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and company law regulations. Liaise with auditors, provide required documentation, and support audit closure. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P& L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Perform variance analysis against budget and forecasts. Support the CFO with MIS reporting and board-level insights. Proficiently use and manage Tally (very important) and Zoho Books for financial processes. Recommend and implement improvements in finance processes using technology and automation. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Track departmental spending and ensure budget discipline. Requirements 2-5 years of relevant experience in core accounting and financial operations. Hands-on expertise with Tally ERP (critical requirement). Working knowledge of Zoho Books, GST, TDS, and tax compliance. Strong command of Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling). Experience working with auditors and an understanding of audit processes. Solid understanding of Indian accounting standards and reporting formats.
