Role & responsibilities

1. Roles and Responsibilities of a Retail Pharmacist

Dispensing Medicines
Prescription Verification: For correct medicine names, dosage, strength, quantity, and possible errors.
Paitent Counselling: Explain how to take medicines, dosage instructions, timing, side effects, precautions, and storage requirements.
Medicine Inventory Management.
Expiry Management: Regularly check expiry dates and remove expired or damaged medicines from shelves.
Billing and Sales
Storage Management.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: D.Pharm or B.Pharm.
Experience: 1-3 years in retail pharmacy or medical stores.
Industry: Retail pharmacy chains, standalone medical stores, or community pharmacies.
Registration: Valid State Pharmacy Council registration (Haryana Registration)
Core experience: Medicine dispensing, prescription handling, OTC sales, billing, stock and expiry management.
Communication: Good customer-handling skills.
