Job Description: F&B Manager / Restaurant Manager, Urban King Hotel

Reports to: General Manager
Oversees: Restaurant, Cafe, Banquets and In-Room Dining

Purpose: Run all F&B operations profitably, build and train the team, and deliver consistently excellent guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Operations: Manage daily operations of the restaurant, cafe and in-room dining across all shifts. Maintain food, service, hygiene and ambience standards, handle guest complaints, and work with the Executive Chef on menus and promotions.
• Banquets: Supervise weddings, conferences and events from enquiry to billing. Issue BEOs, hold pre-event briefings, and make sure set-up and service are flawless.
• Staff procurement: Plan manpower, recruit and select staff, prepare rosters, arrange extra banquet staff, and run onboarding and probation reviews.
• Training: Run induction and ongoing training in SOPs, service skills, product knowledge, food safety and upselling. Appraise performance and groom supervisors for promotion.
• Cost control: Prepare the budget and meet revenue targets. Control food, beverage and labour costs, stock, wastage and breakage, and work with Purchase on vendors.
• Compliance: Maintain FSSAI, HACCP, fire safety and licence requirements, and support audits.
• Marketing: Work with Sales on promotions, online reviews and corporate or event tie-ups.
• Reporting: Give the GM daily and monthly reports on sales, costs, staffing, guest feedback and issues.

KPIs: Revenue vs budget, cost percentages, average spend, guest ratings, audit scores, staff turnover and training hours.

Requirements: Hotel management degree or diploma, 10 to 12 years in F&B with 3 to 5 years in a managerial role, strong leadership, cost control and event skills, and flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
