As an SRE Architect / Consultant at EY, your role involves designing the roadmap to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) for Enterprise IT. You will implement various SRE Solutions across the enterprise / line-of-businesses and assess SRE Maturity of an IT Organization to provide strategies and roadmaps for achieving higher maturity levels. Your key responsibilities will include: - Defining SLA/SLO/SLI for a product / service - Incorporating resilient design and implementation practices into solutions throughout the product life cycle - Designing & implementing Observability Solutions to track, report, and measure SLA adherence - Automating processes and services to eliminate manual effort (Toil) and enhance CI/CD processes - Optimizing the Cost of IT Infra & Operations through FinOps practices To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - 12+ years of experience in software product engineering principles, processes, and systems - Hands-on experience in Java / J2EE, web server, application servers, and major RDBMS like Oracle - Proficiency in CI/CD and IaC tools, cloud technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, and reliability tools - Expertise in Observability tools, Linux operating system, Web Services, SOA, ESB, and RESTFul services - Strong knowledge of application design patterns, Microservices, Spring boot, and Cloud native architectures - Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, automation scripting, and collaborative software development - Desirable skills include AI/ML & Data Analytics knowledge and experience Additionally, EY offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and various paid time off options.
