Position Overview
Sustune Care is seeking a creative, meticulous, and hands-on Residential Interior Designer to join our growing team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end residential spatial design—from initial conceptualization, 2D drafting, and photorealistic 3D visualization to vendor coordination, landscape integration, and on-site execution supervision.
The ideal candidate possesses strong technical proficiency in industry-standard CAD and rendering software, combined with field experience managing contractors, vendors, and clients across apartments, luxury villas, and surrounding green spaces.
Key Responsibilities1. Conceptual Design & 2D/3D Visualization
- Produce accurate 2D architectural layouts, furniture planning, elevation drawings, electrical/plumbing (MEP) schematics, and ceiling details using AutoCAD or equivalent tools.
- Develop realistic 3D renderings, walkthroughs, and mood boards (using SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Blender, or Lumion) to present design intent to clients and internal leadership.
- Integrate residential outdoor spaces and softscaping/hardscaping designs into the overall villa or home ecosystem.
2. On-Site Supervision & Quality Control
- Conduct regular site visits across Hyderabad to inspect work progress, verify measurements, and ensure execution matches approved 2D drawings and 3D designs.
- Coordinate daily with on-site civil contractors, carpenters, painters, electricians, plumbers, and landscape vendors to resolve structural or detail conflicts.
- Enforce quality standards for carpentry finishes, modular installations, stonework, lighting fixtures, and landscaping.
3. Material Selection & BOQ Management
- Select and source materials, finishes, laminates, veneers, fabrics, sanitary fittings, tiles, and outdoor landscaping elements.
- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and material specifications within allocated project budgets.
- Manage procurement schedules to align material deliveries with project timelines.
Qualification & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of direct experience in residential interior design and site supervision (apartments, gated villas, independent houses, and residential landscaping).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Language Proficiency: Multilingual fluidity in English, Hindi, and Telugu is strictly required to communicate effectively with clients, management, site workers, and local vendors across Hyderabad.
- Technical Skills:
- High proficiency in 2D Drafting (AutoCAD).
- High proficiency in 3D Modeling & Rendering (SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, or Blender).
- Familiarity with MS Office (Excel for BOQs and schedules) and presentation software.
- Domain Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of residential space planning, woodwork/modular kitchens, lighting design, and material durability.
- Basic knowledge of residential landscape design (plant selection, drainage, outdoor lighting, and patio hardscaping).
- Familiarity with local construction practices, vendors, and market rates in Hyderabad.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and visual presentation skills.
- Strong project management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities on live construction sites.
