Research Fellow (Biotechnology / Molecular Biology)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting various laboratory techniques in the field of biotechnology and molecular biology. Your primary focus will be on performing PCR techniques, Gel Electrophoresis, Staining techniques, DNA/RNA isolation, ELISA, and SDS-PAGE. Additionally, you will be compiling data, generating reports, and providing analysis and interpretation of assay results. You will also be involved in drafting process documents, assay methods, and training junior staff. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience in PCR techniques, Gel Electrophoresis, Staining techniques, DNA/RNA isolation, ELISA, and SDS-PAGE. - Compile data, generate reports, and analyze assay results. - Apply scientific principles and techniques to analytical testing problems. - Draft and revise process documents, assay methods, and sampling plans. - Train junior staff in laboratory skills and schedule lab/equipment maintenance. - Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by management. Qualifications Required: - Masters degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
