Remotee is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins. Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility. Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and errors. Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver high-quality websites. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other services into WordPress. Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins to maintain security and functionality. Requirements Minimum 2 years of professional experience in WordPress development. Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL. Experience with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.). Proficiency in theme and plugin customization. Familiarity with WordPress security best practices. Experience with Git version control. Basic understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Preferred Skills Experience with WooCommerce development. Knowledge of REST API and headless WordPress. Familiarity with web hosting environments (cPanel, Plesk, etc.). Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Figma, etc.).
