Responsibilities

As part of the Release team operating within an Agile environment, every team member is expected to contribute to the overall solution. In addition to core development expertise, the candidate should be capable of performing or learning the following:

Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines, primarily focusing on GitHub, runners, and Jenkins processes.
Facilitate smooth migration between Git applications in line with organizational strategy, ensuring efficient transitions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed CI/CD principles into the software development lifecycle.
Develop and implement best practices for CI/CD processes and tools.
Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues to minimize downtime and maintain high efficiency.
Issue analysis, enhancement proposals, monitoring/alarming.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our deployment processes by focusing on automation.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate development teams on CI/CD tools and practices.
Stay abreast of industry trends and integrate emerging technologies into the CI/CD ecosystem.
Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in CI/CD pipeline management and DevSecOps practices.
Familiar with ITIL concepts: Change & Release Management, Incident/Problem Management.
Strong background in DevOps methodologies, tools, and practices, including CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub/GitLab with runners, and Jenkins.
Experience in orchestration and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Proficiency with tools such as Windows Batch/PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Salt, Maven, Java JDK, OpenShift, Git, GitLab, Node.js, npm, Nexus, and Linux/Bash.
Solid understanding of deploying platforms such as web applications, Windows services, microservices, and serverless components.
Familiarity with standard databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) is a plus.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure and related products, is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Passion for continuous improvement and staying current with industry developments.
Good communication skills.
Ready to work out of normal business hours and able to effectively collaborate with remote teams located in India and Belgium.
