Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and periodically refine national credit policies across multiple product segments.
• Ensure alignment with the organization’s risk appetite, business strategy, and evolving market conditions.
• Monitor and manage the health of the credit portfolio, with a focus on delinquency trends, NPAs, and Early Warning Signals (EWS).
• Drive proactive interventions to mitigate risk and optimize portfolio performance.
• Oversee appraisal and approval of high-value and complex credit proposals.
• Ensure optimal turnaround times (TAT) while maintaining rigorous credit standards.
• Drive automation and digitization of credit decisioning processes.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (including RBI norms) and internal policies.
• Work closely with audit and risk teams to maintain strong governance frameworks.
• Support resolution and recovery strategies for stressed assets where required.
• Should understand Commodities trading business, their cycles, seasonality & risks.

• 8-10 years in Credit Risk Management within a Bank, NBFC, or fintech, including at least 4 years in a senior/Regional/national leadership role. Risk management experience in commodities trading/ Supply chain would be a plus.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, data management, credit underwriting, and bureau assessment.
• Proven ability to balance growth objectives with prudent risk management in a dynamic environment.
