Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for working on the STB architecture, RDKV, NodeJS, Javascript, C/C++, OOP, and Design. Your expertise in embedded systems, multimedia, and Digital TV will be key in understanding RDK ecosystem principles, designs, and functional components. Additionally, your knowledge of Linux OS internals and video encoding will contribute to various media delivery processes. Your familiarity with CA & DRM systems, E2E video management technologies, broadcast TV, IPTV, and OTT solutions will be essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Experience in Nagra CA and other CA and DRM certifications - Utilize software development tools for system development - Translate business requirements into architectural framework and design - Integrate 3rd party OTT apps natively (Netflix, Prime, Disney+, and YT) - Implement RDK Thunder architecture and RDK Firebolt SDK integration - Integrate Smart RCU (BLE) and Platform Abstraction Layer for new platform onboarding - Familiarity with Yocto and boot loaders for system development Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in C/C++, JS, NodeJS, and OOP - Strong understanding of Linux OS internals - Knowledge of video encoding, streaming, and media delivery - Experience in CA & DRM systems and E2E video management technologies - Previous exposure to broadcast TV, IPTV, and OTT solutions - Experience with Nagra CA, security design, SoC capabilities, and certification processes - Capability to design and implement architectural frameworks - Expertise in integrating 3rd party OTT apps and system tools - Familiarity with Smart RCU integration, Platform Abstraction Layer, Yocto, and boot loaders,
