The opportunity:

We are looking for an engaging and driven person to lead the power quality R&D team with focus on power system and modeling. You will be part of Grid & Power Quality Solutions and report to the Global R&D Manager for Power Quality. This is a visible role in a truly global and cross-functional environment, at the cutting edge of technology.

• To provide coaching and guiding your team to business targets

• You will be responsible for continuous improvements and operational development, contribute and drive long-term strategic initiatives

• You will be responsible to take ownership of developing the team’s competence and work processes

• You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• Required relevant engineering background combined with min 8+ years of experience of product development and team management.

• Higher formal education in relevant fields will be meriting and / or control of power electronics and preferably FACTS / HVDC / Substations.

• Strong leadership (direct and indirect reports) and proven change management experience

• Experience in power systems and preferably FACTS/HVDC/Substations is considered as a merit

• Leadership skills from line management, project management, or another leading role.

• You communicate well, have a structured way of working and have a strong will to drive and implement improvements and change transformations.

• Diversity and safety are your leading stars.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
