Location: Gurugram (In-office) Job Type: Full-time Experience: 2–5 years Industry: SaaS / AI Writing / SEO Technology About Rayo Rayo is an AI-powered writing tool that streamlines the entire SEO content lifecycle. By integrating research, structuring, tone, optimisation, and publishing into a single, cohesive flow, Rayo enables teams to produce high-quality, on-brand, search-optimised content without operational drag. Built for organisations that value both craft and efficiency, Rayo helps marketing, content, and SEO teams scale output, maintain consistency, and ship work that performs. About the Role As an SEO Strategist at Rayo, you’ll own how we think about search — across content strategy, SERP intelligence, product inputs, and competitive analysis. You’ll work with writers, PMs, and engineers to help shape a product that actually understands how SEO works in 2025, not 2015. This role is part strategy, part analysis, part experimentation — and a lot of curiosity. What You’ll Do Build keyword clusters, topic maps, and search-driven content strategies. Translate search demand into briefs, outlines, and actionable content directions. Conduct SERP, competitor, and gap analysis to identify real opportunities. Work closely with the product team to refine ranking logic, AI inputs, and scoring systems. Evaluate content quality and depth using modern ranking signals (E-E-A-T, intent match, SERP features, etc.). Identify technical blockers: crawlability, indexation, internal linking, schema, page experience. Own performance tracking through GSC and analytics dashboards. Run experiments across titles, formats, structures, and internal linking models. Communicate insights clearly and concisely — without jargon overload. What You’ll Need 2–5 years in SEO, content strategy, or search intelligence. Strong understanding of search intent, content depth, and AI-overview ranking dynamics. Hands-on experience with tools like GSC, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, etc. Ability to guide writers and product teams with clarity, not complexity. Comfort with both on-page and light technical SEO. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have Experience with AI tools or AI-assisted content workflows. Prior work in SaaS, content-heavy brands, or SEO agencies. Familiarity with schema types, content scoring systems, or internal linking frameworks. Comfortable creating documentation, frameworks, and repeatable processes. Who You Are You’re curious by default and analytical by habit. You enjoy the craft of content as much as the mechanics of search. You like ownership, clarity, and autonomy. You prefer small teams where you can move fast and see your impact. Benefits Competitive salary High ownership role with real product influence Fast-moving, low-bureaucracy environment Work with a sharp team building a challenger product
