Commercial Sales Manager (Techno-Sales)
We are hiring a Commercial Sales Manager (Techno-Sales) to lead the sales of S olar Rooftop systems and commercial solar projects . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of solar technology and proven experience in B2B project sales , Large Scale Projects etc Key Responsibilities Drive sales of rooftop solar systems (kW, MW,GW scale) for commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. Identify and convert leads for CAPEX, OPEX (RESCO/BOO) and On grid, Off grid and Hybrid Solar models. Conduct site assessments, load analysis, and coordinate with technical teams for customized proposals. Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals including ROI, savings analysis, and financial modeling. Lead client meetings, technical discussions, and contract negotiations. Collaborate with design, engineering, and execution teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Stay updated on solar policies, subsidies, net-metering, and state-specific DISCOM regulations. Build strong long-term relationships with channel partners, consultants, EPCs, and end clients. Maintain accurate sales funnel, MIS reporting, and forecast targets. Not Mandate (would be a plus ) Preferred Candidate Profile 4-8 years of experience in solar energy sales , particularly rooftop and commercial-scale projects. Good understanding of solar components (modules, inverters, BOS) and solar design basics. Excellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing roles. Target-driven and capable of independently handling the sales cycle from lead to closure. Willing to travel for site visits, client meetings, and project coordination.
