Job Summary:We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Computer Operator to oversee the operation and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals. The ideal candidate should be proficient in data entry, software usage, basic troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of office technology systems. Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor computer systems, networks, and related hardware. Perform accurate data entry and manage records in company databases or systems. Maintain logs of operations, errors, and completed tasks. Respond to system alerts, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and escalate as needed. Ensure proper functioning of printers, scanners, and other office devices. Generate reports, spreadsheets, and documentation as requested by supervisors. Ensure system backups are completed and stored securely. Assist with software installations, updates, and configuration. Maintain confidentiality and security of company information. Follow standard operating procedures and report any system malfunctions. Proven experience as a computer operator, data entry clerk, or similar role. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with data management systems. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and troubleshooting. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision. Good organizational and time-management skills. Typing speed of [insert WPM, e.g., 40+ words per minute] is a plus.
