About the Role We seek an experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations at our Rice Mill. Fluency in English AND Hindi or Bengali (spoken/written) is mandatory. You will manage stock, billing, corporate communication, and tenders in a fast-paced agricultural processing environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Daily Stock Management: Oversee paddy/rice inventory, procurement, storage, and quality control. Ensure accurate stock records and minimize wastage. 2. Billing & Invoicing: Manage mill billing cycles, generate invoices, and track payments. 3. Corporate Communication: Draft official letters, emails, and notices in English for vendors, clients, and authorities. 4. Tender Management: Identify, prepare, file, and track rice supply tenders (government/private). 5. Operations Oversight: Ensure smooth mill operations, compliance, and process efficiency. Required Skills & Qualifications: MUST be fluent in English AND Hindi or Bengali (verbal & written). Proven experience (Min. 1-2 years) in rice milling or related FMCG/agricultural operations management. Expertise in stock control, billing, tender filing, and formal business writing. Strong organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office, billing software.
