Radiology Typist

A hospital in Hyderabad, Telangana, is seeking a detail-oriented Radiology Typist with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. The selected candidate will prepare and format radiology reports from dictated or recorded findings, maintain accurate documentation, and support the timely completion of diagnostic reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in radiology typing, medical transcription, or healthcare documentation.
• Familiarity with radiology terminology and diagnostic imaging reports.
• Good typing speed with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in computer applications and word-processing software.
• Strong attention to detail, spelling, grammar, and formatting.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle medical records responsibly.
• Good communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Type and format radiology reports based on dictation or instructions from authorized radiologists.
• Accurately transcribe medical terminology, findings, and report impressions.
• Proofread reports for spelling, grammar, formatting, and data-entry errors without altering clinical findings.
• Ensure reports are prepared and processed within the required timelines.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical records as applicable.
• Coordinate with radiologists and relevant departments to clarify transcription-related queries.
• Handle patient information confidentially and follow hospital data-protection policies.
• Follow established documentation procedures and quality standards.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
