JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ø Manages and trains radiologic technologists.
Ø Hires and onboards new radiologic technologists.
Ø Sets the radiology department staffing schedule.
Ø Examines patients when the team is short-staffed.
Ø Uses radiology equipment and protective gear.
Ø Evaluates radiologic technologists to ensure optimal patient care.
Ø Develops and implements radiology department policies and procedures.
Ø Leads regular quality assurance tests on all radiology equipment.
Ø Collaborates with medical and administrative staff.
