Job Title: Procurement and Logistics Executive: We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Procurement and Logistics Executive to manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and the smooth flow of materials and goods. The role involves handling procurement operations, negotiating with vendors, monitoring inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of materials while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost effective and quality materials/services. Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Develop and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships. Track and monitor shipments, ensuring customs clearance, documentation, and on-time delivery. Coordinate with internal departments (finance, operations, projects, warehouse) to align procurement and logistics needs. Maintain and update supplier databases, contracts, and purchase records. Monitor inventory levels and plan replenishments as required. Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and legal/quality standards. Resolve supplier issues, delays, or discrepancies in deliveries. Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and logistics performance. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. Proven experience in procurement and/or logistics (2–5 years preferred). Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Knowledge of shipping terms, customs regulations, and import/export procedures. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Attributes: Experience in [your industry, e.g., construction, oil & gas, trading, FMCG]. Certification in supply chain management or procurement (CIPS, CPSM, etc.) is an advantage. Team player with a proactive and flexible approach.
