Roles and Responsibilities: As a finance executive, your role would likely involve gaining practical experience in various aspects of financial management and accounting. Here are some common tasks and responsibilities you might encounter: Financial Analysis : You may assist in analyzing financial data, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to assess the company's financial performance and identify trends. Bookkeeping and Accounting : You might handle routine accounting tasks, such as recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records in compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Taxation : You may assist in preparing tax returns and complying with various tax laws and regulations applicable, including income tax, goods and services tax (GST), and others. Financial Reporting: You could help in preparing financial reports for internal stakeholders, management, and external parties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. Auditing : You might support the audit process by providing documentation and assisting auditors in reviewing financial records and procedures. Financial Planning and Strategy : You may have the opportunity to contribute to financial planning initiatives and strategic decision-making processes, providing insights based on your analysis and research. Research and Market Analysis : You might conduct research on financial markets, industry trends, and economic indicators to help inform the company's financial strategies and decisions. Ad Hoc Projects : You could be assigned various ad hoc projects related to financial analysis, process improvement, or other areas within the finance function. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field. • Experience or exposure to QuickBooks and Tally. • Should have 1-2 years of experience in handling US clients or US accounting.
